PRODUCT RESEARCH
DramaGo
This research note is kept separate from the app profile so the main page stays focused on ranking data.
One-line positioning
DramaGo is a free vertical short-drama platform launched in June 2026, monetized by ads and coin unlocks earned through check-ins and missions. It accumulated over 6.5 million downloads within two months and entered the Google Play top-50 free entertainment charts in South Korea and the US in August 2026. Store records list Gnurt as the Android developer, but no corresponding corporate entity is visible in public records.
Product & company
Store records show the Android app is operated by the Google Play developer account Gnurt, with the official site at dramago.online and a related privacy-policy contact of ad.k9studio@gmail.com; no corporate entity is disclosed. No company matching Gnurt was found in public sources. A separate Singapore-registered company, DRAMAGO PTE. LTD. (UEN 202429603G), runs another interactive-drama app under the same DramaGo brand (package com.chasinghorses.videoframe); the two share a brand name but differ in official site, privacy policy and package name, and no public evidence links them.
Business model & format
Free with IAA: ads served via Google AdMob, and free coins earned through daily check-ins and missions unlock episodes, positioning a light-ad viewing experience. Google Play flags the app as containing ads. No significant subscription or large in-app purchase signals were found.
Growth & market
Launched in mid-June 2026, it reached over 6.5 million lifetime downloads with about 5.6 million in the last 30 days and a rating around 4.2. In August 2026 it charted in the Google Play top-50 free entertainment lists in South Korea (peak #10), the US (about #40), Germany and Australia. The immediate chart climb points to heavy paid user acquisition, with core markets including South Korea, the US, Germany and Australia.
Risks & watchpoints
Corporate ownership is not closed: the developer is the account Gnurt with no matching company in public records, while a Singapore-registered DRAMAGO PTE. LTD. runs a separate app under the same brand name, creating confusion with no publicly evidenced relationship. The official site and domain are very new (registered June 2026), content sources and licensing are unclear, posing compliance risk; growth relies heavily on paid acquisition with low revenue per download.
